Drawing Never Dies

Drawing Never Dies is RedLine's Third Annual Juried Exhibition, open to national and international artists age 18 and over. The exhibition will run July 9 – August 5, 2016, with an opening reception on Friday, July 9 from 6-10pm. The online entry submission deadline is Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $35.00.

Guest jurors are Daisy McGowan, Director and Chief Curator of the UCCS Galleries of Contemporary Art, and Donald Fodness, an artist and educator with an interdisciplinary practice including drawing, sculpture, furniture and installation. The exhibition will survey the range of drawing taking place today, including approaches spanning from minimal to maximal, meticulous to messy, monumental to miniature. Work may use commonplace materials such as graphite and pens on paper, or explore drawing on earth surfaces, technology such as 3D pen drawings in space, or forms intended for experience on screen.

Work sample requirements: submit 1-3 total samples, which may include up to 3 images, 3 audio files, and/or 3 video files. Selected artists will be notified via email on June 17, 2016. Selected artist drop-off is June 30 - July 3, 2016, with pickup August 6-8. RedLine retains 25% commission on all art sales. Payment for artwork sold will be issued 15 to 30 days after the close of the exhibition. If shipping work to RedLine, include a return shipment label and postage.
