About This Call
The Downtown Sarasota Spring Craft Fair takes place at 5 Points Park, located at the intersection of Central and First Street in Downtown Sarasota, FL. The show is held Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm, with setup on Saturday. Public admission is free with no gate fee. Parking is available for RVs and standard size vehicles. Overnight security is onsite.
Booth spaces are available in 10x10, 10x15, and 10x20 sizes. The booth fee is $395.00. A $20.00 non-refundable jury fee is required with application. Once invited to participate, a $50 deposit may be made if the event is more than 30 days away, with the balance due no later than 30 days prior to the event. If applying within 30 days of the show, a $30 late fee applies. All booth fee payments are made directly to American Craft Endeavors, not through the application platform.
To apply, submit 3 images of your work, 1 image of a 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, and a biography or website. Artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created by the approved artist or through collaboration between two artists. One medium only per booth is permitted. American Craft Endeavors allows a limited quantity of offset prints, giclees, and reproduced work that must be clearly labeled as such. The use of kits, imported goods, or mass-produced items is prohibited. Artwork images and booth display must be up-to-date and consistent with what will be set up at the event. The artist or craftsperson whose work has been accepted is required to be present throughout the event.
All exhibitors selling food for human or pet consumption and exhibitors selling products applied to the skin (soap, skin care, etc.) are required to have product liability insurance naming Howard Alan Events, Inc. and American Craft Endeavors as co-insured. Displays must be professional and aesthetically pleasing with white tents only. Handwritten signs and sale signs are prohibited. Ribbons from other shows may not be displayed. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 30 days prior to the show to receive a show credit good for 2 years. Application fees are non-refundable. For questions, contact (561) 746-6615.
