About This Call
The Downtown Sarasota Fine Art and Craft Fair takes place in the same location as the February Art Festival, spanning over five city blocks in Downtown Sarasota. Artists and crafters will fill Main Street from Orange Avenue to Links Avenue, with the festival including a craft/green market area. Crafters should select "craft section" under medium category to apply.
This competitive show is limited to the number of exhibitors accepted by a jury of highly qualified, talented, experienced artists who meet weekly. The festival runs Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm with free public admission. Set-up is on Saturday, with daytime and overnight parking available near the show site. Accepted mediums include clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin. All artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created by the approved artist, with the artist required to be present throughout the event.
