Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts: February 2026, 38th Annual

The Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts features over 200 award-winning artists showcasing their fine art, transforming Main Street into a remarkable art festival experience. The festival has expanded to cover more than five city blocks in Downtown Sarasota and consistently ranks among the top 100 art festivals in the country according to Sunshine Artist Magazine. This free outdoor festival celebrates the exceptional quality of art and variety of artistic expressions, with proceeds supporting the Downtown Sarasota Alliance.

The festival takes place on Main Street at Orange Avenue, heading east to Links Avenue, with show hours Saturday and Sunday 10am-5pm. Booth spaces are 10x10 (limited 10x20 available with approved double booth image) with a booth fee of $615. Artists must display original, handcrafted work directly created by the approved individual artist. One medium only per booth is permitted from the following categories: clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin.

Applications require 4 images of work, 1 image of 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, and a $35 non-refundable jury fee. This competitive show uses an ongoing jury process with applications reviewed in order of date received. Artists are encouraged to apply early as categories may close when maximum allotment is reached. Upon invitation, a deposit/booth fee must be submitted immediately to secure space.
