Downtown Sarasota Bayfront Art in the Park 2025 - Holiday Dec 6/7

This boutique Art & Craft show will feature a maximum of 81 artists allowing for less competition, less crossover booths and more potential opportunities to connect with shoppers. This application is for Sarasota Bayfront Art in the Park - Holiday edition at JD Hamel Park, on the bay in downtown Sarasota. This event takes place the same weekend as the 25th annual downtown Sarasota holiday parade which attracts 4000 parade participants and 25000 crowd of parade watchers. The parade takes place Saturday evening at 7pm along Main and Gulfstream. There is no music, no booze and no food putting the focus solely on art, craft and unique gifts.

The event is open Saturday & Sunday 10am to 5pm with setup Saturday morning 6:30am to 9am. Application fee is $15 with booth fees of $349 if paid before Oct 6, $399 if paid after. Artists may apply in up to 2 categories and overnight security is provided Saturday evening. Focus is on handmade & artist designed items but the jury will consider unique/creative gift ideas, authors, inventors and designers for holiday gift giving. Emerging artists of all levels are encouraged to apply.

The artists are selected through a review of their work by a panel of experts. Categories include artist-made work, craft production, inventor creations, designer work, and other creative concepts. All artist exhibitor tents must be white and displays must be professional. Booth spaces are approximately 10' wide by 10' deep with at least 2 foot between booths. Categories are capped with no more than 25% jewelry, and any jewelry must be applied for in the jewelry category specifically.
