About This Call
The Downtown Melbourne Arts & Crafts Festival takes place along E New Haven Avenue, stretching from Livingston Street to the railroad tracks. This event transforms the core of Downtown Melbourne into a dynamic outdoor gallery, inviting skilled craft artisans and fine artists to display their creations. With backing from Melbourne Main Street and local businesses, the festival provides outstanding visibility in a pedestrian-friendly area with boutique shops, eateries, and continuous foot traffic from residents and tourists.
The festival features 10x10, 10x15 and 10x20 booth spaces with show hours Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm. Set-up is on Saturday with overnight security provided onsite. Public admission is free with daytime parking available for RVs and standard vehicles. Booth fees are $395.00 with a $50 deposit option if the event is more than 30 days away. Applications require 3 images of work, 1 image of 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, and a $20 non-refundable jury fee.
Accepted mediums include candles, ceramics, clothing, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal art, paintings, photography, sculpture, wood, and many others. Artwork must be original, handcrafted, and directly created by the approved artist. The artist must be present throughout the event, and only one medium per booth is permitted. American Craft Endeavors allows a limited quantity of offset prints, giclees, and reproduced work that must be clearly labeled as such.
