Downtown Los Angeles Winter 2020 Exhibition Consideration & Roster Opportunity

Dab Art Co. & Gallery invites proposals for group exhibitions. Artists chosen for group exhibitions will be further evaluated and considered for roster selections. Submissions should include at least 3 images, a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least 1 social media platform. Early applications are encouraged as exhibition considerations are made monthly.

Located in Downtown LA's Historic Core, Dab Art Co. & Gallery is in the heart of the LA Arts District. Exhibition lengths vary from 4 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions. A selected few may be invited for a recorded artist interview and/or panel discussion about their exhibit. Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. All work must be original, unsold work, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang.

Artists selected for roster receive gallery representation, priority consideration for exhibitions, consultation and portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional assistance in selected publications, online market inventory, and website profile. Entry fee is $35 for 3 images; additional images cost $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional 15-minute phone consultation is available for $50. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks. Dab Art retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales in gallery and online. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from buyer to Dab Art. Notifications are sent via email.
