Downtown Los Angeles | Gallery Row Exhibitions

The Dab Art Co. DTLA Gallery is located within Downtown Los Angeles's historic core in the heart of the Arts District and Gallery Row. The gallery features an industrial style with high ceilings and modern layout. It is one of 25 galleries featured on the Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk.

Proposals will be reviewed for group exhibitions and solo features. Artists chosen for exhibition will be further evaluated and considered for roster selections. A comprehensive submission should include at least 3 images, a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least 1 social media platform. Online exhibitions vary from 3 to 6 months, with a minimum of one solo exhibition selected per month. Gallery exhibition lengths may vary from 4 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited to personally attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions.

Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. Entry fee is $35 for 3 images; additional images cost $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100. Artists selected for exhibition will also be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for exhibitions, ongoing professional consultation, portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional assistance, online market inventory, and website profile. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. All work must be original, unsold work with the artist owning sole copyright. 2D artwork must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Notifications are sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Artists placed on the waitlist and not selected for an in-gallery exhibit will be featured in at least one online exhibition within the calendar year.
