Downtown Los Angeles | Exhibitions & Roster Opportunity

Dab Art Co. will review proposals for group exhibitions. Artists chosen for these group exhibitions will be further evaluated and considered for roster selections. A comprehensive submission should include at least 3 images, a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least 1 social media platform. Early applications are encouraged as exhibition considerations will be made prior to the deadlines.

The Dab Art Co. Gallery is located in the historic core of Downtown Los Angeles in the Arts District and Gallery Row. Online exhibitions vary from 3 to 6 months, with a minimum of one solo exhibition selected per month. Gallery exhibition lengths may vary from 4 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions. A selected few may be invited for a recorded artist interview and/or panel discussion about their exhibit. Artists selected for exhibition will also be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for exhibitions, ongoing professional consultation and portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional assistance in selected publications, online market inventory, and website profile.

Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. Entry fee is $35 for 3 images; additional images cost $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100. The director will review your submission in depth, including website, social media accounts, biography, and artist statements, and discuss professional goals. Consultations are limited to 1 hour maximum, conducted via Zoom, and recorded. You have 90 days to schedule your consultation. Notifications are sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. All work must be original, unsold work, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang. Gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Payment to artists will be provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer.
