Downtown Los Angeles 2021 Exhibitions & Roster

Dab Art Co. will review proposals for group exhibitions. Artists chosen for these group exhibitions will be further evaluated and considered for roster selections. A comprehensive submission should include at least 3 images, a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least 1 social media platform. Early applications are encouraged as exhibition considerations will be made prior to the deadlines.

The Dab Art Co. Gallery is located in the historic core of Downtown Los Angeles in the heart of LA's Arts District and Gallery Row. Gallery exhibition lengths may vary from 4 to 10 weeks, while online exhibitions will vary from 3 to 6 months. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions. A selected few may be invited for a recorded artist interview and/or panel discussion about their exhibit. Artists selected for roster receive gallery representation, priority consideration for exhibitions, consultation and portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional assistance in selected publications, online market inventory and website profile.

Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. Entry fee is $35 for 3 images; additional images cost $5 per image (maximum 20 images). An optional consultation with the gallery director is available for $100, conducted via Zoom with a maximum duration of 1 hour. All work must be original, unsold work with the artist owning sole copyright. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats and wiring. Gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Notifications are sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks.
