Downtown Los Angeles | 2020 Exhibitions & Roster Consideration

Dab Art Co. is accepting proposals for group exhibitions and roster consideration. All proposals will first be reviewed for group exhibitions. Artists chosen for these group exhibitions will be further evaluated by the Dab Art Co. director and considered for roster selections. A comprehensive submission must include at least 3 images, a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least 1 social media platform. Early applications are encouraged as exhibition considerations are made monthly.

Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. All work must be original, unsold work, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang. Exhibition lengths vary from 6 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions. A selected few may be invited for a recorded artist interview and/or panel discussion.

Artists selected for roster receive gallery representation, priority consideration for exhibitions, consultation and portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional assistance in selected publications, online market inventory and website profile. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales in gallery and online. Artwork selected for exhibition will be listed on Dab Art Co.'s sales platform, Artsy. Payment to artists will be provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from buyer. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks. Shipments must include a prepaid UPS or FedEx return label and be shipped in a container suitable for reuse. No packing peanuts are permitted.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images. Additional images cost $5 per image, with a maximum of 20 images. An optional consultation fee of $50 is available. Dab Art Co. is located in the Downtown Los Angeles Arts District and is one of 25 galleries featured on the Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk.
