Downtown Los Angeles | 2020 Exhibitions & Roster

Dab Art will review proposals for group exhibitions. Artists chosen for these group exhibitions will be further evaluated and considered for roster selections. A comprehensive submission must include at least 3 images, a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least 1 social media platform. Early applications are encouraged as exhibition considerations are made monthly.

Dab Art is one of 25 galleries featured on the Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk, held monthly. The gallery is located in the heart of the LA Arts District. Exhibition lengths vary from 4 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions. A selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions.

Artists selected for the roster receive gallery representation, priority consideration for exhibitions, consultation and portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional assistance in selected publications, online market inventory, and website profile. Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang. Dab Art retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales in gallery and online. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance of artworks. Entry fee is $35 for 3 images; additional images are $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional 15-minute phone consultation is available for $50.
