Downtown Los Angeles 2019/2020 Winter Exhibitions & Roster Opportunity

Dab Art Co. & Gallery is accepting proposals for 2019/2020 Winter group exhibitions. Artists chosen for these group exhibitions will be further evaluated and considered for roster selections. Early applications are encouraged as exhibition considerations are made monthly. Entries submitted on or before October 31, 2019 are for Winter 2019/2020 consideration, and entries are reviewed weekly.

The gallery is located in Downtown LA's Historic Core within the LA Arts District. Exhibition lengths vary from 4 to 10 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions. A selected few may be invited for a recorded artist interview and/or panel discussion about their exhibit. Every artist will be able to exhibit a sizable body of work so that they are well represented in the exhibition. The number of pieces varies depending on the artist's medium, sizes and shapes of selected work, and available wall space.

Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. All work must be original, unsold work, and the artist must own the sole copyright. For 2D artwork selected for exhibition, pieces must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring in good condition. No saw-tooth hangers are permitted. All accepted work must remain for the duration of the exhibit. Entry fee is $35.00, with an optional $5.00 media fee for additional images (minimum 3, maximum 20 images required). An optional 15-minute phone consultation is available for $50.00. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Dab Art retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales in gallery and online. Payment to artists will be provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer.
