About This Call
This program provides grants to individuals and organizations who will bring temporary, creative, free of charge experiences to downtown Durham public spaces during the Third Friday Durham art walk, occurring every third Friday from 6-9 pm. Art About projects are interactive, educational, and playful. Examples include sidewalk chalk workshops, drum circles, pop-up free dinner parties, life-size building blocks, and silent discos.
Work sample requirements: Submit 2-15 images and up to 3 videos (minimum 2 total samples). Eligibility is regional, limited to North Carolina residents.
