About This Call
The Downtown Delray Beach Festival of the Arts is recognized as one of the premier fine art festivals in the nation by Sunshine Artist Magazine. The event takes place on Atlantic Avenue in Downtown Delray Beach, starting from Swinton (close to Old School Square) and proceeding westward to NW 5th Avenue, with all booths located west of the Intracoastal bridge. The festival unites upscale retail and gourmet dining, passionate art lovers, and stunning fine art. The show is closed to the jewelry and photography category, with all jewelry and photography applications juried for wait list only.
The festival features 10x10 booth spaces (limited 10x20 available with approved double booth image) with a booth fee of $615. Show hours are Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm with Saturday morning set-up. The venue offers free public admission, nearby parking for daytime and overnight, and overnight security. Accepted mediums include clay, digital, fiber, glass, mixed media, painting, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin. Howard Alan Events promotes the festival through partnerships with WRMF, Palm Beach Post, Sun Sentinel, Boca News, Forum Publishing and Comcast Cable.
Applications require 3 images of work, 1 image of 10x10 outdoor display with white canopy tent, and a $35 non-refundable jury fee. All exhibitors must have liability insurance with the City of Delray Beach listed as Additional Insured.
