Downtown Austin | SOLO and Group Exhibition Selections

Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin, is accepting submissions for solo and group exhibitions both online and in gallery. Online exhibitions vary from 3 to 6 months. Gallery exhibitions range from 6 to 8 weeks. For the Summer Solo Series 2022, the gallery is awarding new solo features monthly, selecting an average of 5-7 artists each month. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions. A selected few may be invited for a recorded artist interview and/or panel discussion about their exhibit.

Submissions are reviewed weekly, and selections are made throughout the month. Entry deadline is 7/31/2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images at $5 per image (maximum 20 images total). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100. Consultations are conducted via Zoom, limited to 1 hour maximum, and artists receive a recorded copy. Consultations are non-refundable regardless of invitation status.

Notifications are generally sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive either an "Invited" status for immediate exhibition placement or "Wait List" status, with wait-listed artists featured in at least one exhibition within the calendar year. Artists selected for exhibition are considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation and receive priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, and marketing support. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer.

All mediums and genres are considered, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. For 2D artwork, pieces must be ready to hang with professional-quality frames, mats, and wiring.
