Downtown Austin | Group + Solo Exhibitions (May 2023)

Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin, is accepting submissions for group and solo exhibitions both in-gallery and online. Exhibition lengths may vary from 6 to 12 weeks for in-gallery shows and 3 to 6 months for online exclusive exhibitions. Submission considerations are for 2023. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to personally attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions about their exhibits.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images available at $5 per image (maximum 20 images total). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100, which includes in-depth discussion of your submission, website, social media, biography, and artist statement, with feedback designed to improve your online presence and increase exhibition invitations. Consultations are conducted via Zoom, limited to 1 hour maximum, and artists receive a recorded copy. Consultations are non-refundable regardless of invitation status.

Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for exhibitions, ongoing professional consultation and portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional assistance, and online market inventory and website profile. Notifications are generally sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive either an "Invited" status for immediate upcoming exhibitions or "Wait List" status, with wait-listed artists guaranteed at least one exhibition (online or gallery) within the calendar year. Gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. All work must be original, unsold, with the artist owning sole copyright. All mediums and genres are considered. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping with prepaid return labels.
