Downtown Austin 2023 Group + Solo Exhibitions

Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin, is accepting submissions for solo and group exhibitions both in gallery and online. Exhibition lengths may vary from 6 to 12 weeks for in-gallery shows and 3 to 6 months for online exclusive exhibitions. Submissions are being reviewed for 2023 exhibition consideration. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images available at $5 per image (maximum 20 images total). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100, which includes in-depth discussion of your submission, website, social media, biography, and artist statement, with feedback designed to improve your online presence and increase exhibition invitations. Consultations are conducted via Zoom, limited to 1 hour maximum, and artists receive a recorded copy. Consultations are non-refundable regardless of invitation status.

Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional support, and online market inventory. Notifications are generally sent within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive either an "Invited" status for immediate exhibition placement or "Wait List" status, with waitlisted artists guaranteed at least one exhibition (online or gallery) within the calendar year. Gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. All work must be original, unsold, with sole copyright owned by the artist. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping with prepaid return labels.
