About This Call
Established in 2003, the Downtown Art & Craft Market runs adjacent to the Downtown Farmers Market in Pioneer Park and celebrates our communities desire for unique, handmade, local gifts and art. The Art & Craft market provides an illuminating window into our region and the creativity born of the Intermountain West. From jewelry to organic body products to fine art and photography, market patrons will find a wide array of beautiful items to give, or to keep!
Applications are accepted online at zapplication.org beginning January 8, 2025 with a deadline of March 12, 2025. All applications are reviewed by a selected jury, and notifications will be sent no later than April 11, 2025. A nonrefundable application fee of $50 is required upon submission. All crafts must be handmade by the applicant in Utah - pre-manufactured, mass-produced, imported or commercial products will not be considered.
Applicants must submit a maximum of 6 photographs representative of items intended to sell plus one photograph of their display (7 photographs total). Digital photographs should be in JPEG format, no smaller than 1400 pixels on the longest side. An artist's statement describing the process, inspiration, and chosen medium is also required. All vendors must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance for $1,000,000 with Urban Food Connections of Utah listed as additionally insured. Market hours are 8 am to 2 pm on Saturdays, with booth spaces approximately 10 linear feet.
