Doubt and its Double

The Lab on Santa Fe is seeking companion pieces for a performance art installation involving tennis, entitled Doubt and its Double, running March 1-24, 2024. Submitted work does not need to directly relate to tennis but should address at least one of the following topics: mental illness, evolution, survival of the fittest, the exhaustion of the physical body, failure, emotional rollercoasters, pressure to perform, and/or the voices in our head which trigger doubt and the universal battle with these voices.

Pieces must not exceed 24 inches in width or 24 inches in height. Sculptures are not accepted. Measurements must be accurate on the application, as the curator has the right to turn away work at drop-off if dimensions are incorrect. A wire hanger must be attached to the back of pieces. Accepted artists must be available for drop-off on Sunday, February 24th between 10am-12pm.

Entry fee is $35.00. Submit 1-3 images. Eligibility is limited to local Colorado artists.
