Doors Open Denver Photo Competition: Y/OUR DENVER 2022

The Denver Architecture Foundation (DAF) and the Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) announce their 5th annual Doors Open Denver Photography Competition, Y/OUR Denver. Photographers of all skill levels are invited to photograph their favorite architectural spaces in Denver and throughout Colorado for this juried competition. All forms of architectural imagery are welcome: black and white, color, exterior, interiors, and detail images. Thirty images will be showcased in an online exhibition on the DAF and CPAC websites.

Entry is open to Colorado residents, age 18 or older. Eligible media include film, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and mobile photography. No video submissions allowed. Photos must feature architecture within Colorado but are not limited to Doors Open Denver 2022 sites. Applicants should list the location of the photograph in Colorado in the title. The submission deadline is Friday, October 28, 2022. There is no entry fee. Applicants may submit up to 3 images.

The online exhibition runs from December 12, 2022 through February 28, 2023. Exhibition juror is Samantha Johnston, Executive Director and Curator at CPAC. Winners will receive awards including a 30-minute portfolio review with the juror, CPAC individual membership, Denver Architecture Foundation family membership, and a copy of Guide to Denver Architecture.
