Does it Fit?

Artists are invited to submit original artwork for the Does it Fit? exhibit at the Kavanagh Gallery of Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles, Illinois. The show runs from March 27 – April 24, 2025. This national exhibition is open to artists 18 and older who reside in the United States.

Artwork specifications: 2-dimensional works must measure exactly 16" x 16", including the frame. For 3-dimensional works, each side must be as close to 16" as possible but not larger than 16", including any base or armature. All media and themes are welcome. Up to 3 pieces may be submitted per application, with one image per piece. All artwork must be original and not previously shown at Fine Line. All pieces must be for sale.

Entry fee is $35. The deadline for applications via CAFÉ is February 10, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Jury decisions will be based on creativity, quality of artistry, and originality. Artists will be notified of jury decisions via email on or before February 22, 2025. $800 in prizes will be awarded. The gallery charges a 30% sales commission on artwork sold during the show. Fine Line handles all sales, sales tax, and provides artists with payment after the show ends. Artists are responsible for shipping artwork to and from Fine Line and must include a return shipping label. Artists are also responsible for insuring items during shipping. Fine Line provides insurance coverage from receipt of work until the show's end, valued at 70% of the sale price. The gallery features grey pedestals and uses the Walker Display system for wall-hung artwork. Hanging work should have wire and screw eyes; no saw-tooth hangers or clip frames are permitted.
