About This Call
The Photographic Center Northwest announces Documentary: 19th Annual Photo Exhibition with juror Whitney C. Johnson, Director of Photography at The New Yorker. The theme is documentary. A minimum of 4 images is required with your entry, and an artist statement is encouraged. All photo processes are welcome. Selected entries will be exhibited in Seattle, WA at the Photo Center in August 2014.
Entry fee is $42 for 4 JPGs (minimum). Additional JPGs may be submitted for $7 each, up to 12 total. You must submit a minimum of 4 images to be reviewed. Payment must be in U.S. Dollars and entry fees are non-refundable. A list of accepted artists will be posted on the PCNW website in June 2014, and selected artists will be notified by email. Framed work must arrive by July 27, 2014.
Work selected by the juror will be exhibited at the Photo Center NW. All sales of work in the juried show will be conducted by Photo Center NW, which will retain a 50% commission on all work sold. Artists can choose not to sell their work. Artists are responsible for shipping their framed work to and from the gallery.
