About This Call
Divulge is d'Art Center's second national exhibition featuring both 2D and 3D artworks from across the United States in all mediums and styles that highlight self-expression, are created in art therapy, and/or raise awareness of mental health. The exhibition is open to all functional and non-functional fine art and fine craft. This is an in-person exhibition that will also be featured digitally on d'Art Center's archive site.
The exhibition will be juried by gallery manager Amanda Bradley and exhibition juror Matthew Bernier, MCAT, ATR-BC, a board-certified art therapist and Associate Professor in the Graduate Art Therapy and Counseling Program at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Exhibition dates are Saturday, September 10, 2022 through Saturday, October 8, 2022, with a reception on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 5:30-7:30pm. Accepted works must arrive by 5pm Saturday, September 3, 2022. Notifications will be sent by email by 5pm Monday, August 22, 2022.
Eligibility: Open to all artists 18 or older residing in the United States. All work must be original, created without instructor or kit assistance, and produced within the last eight years. Work cannot exceed 50 pounds or be longer than 60 inches in its longest dimension (restrictions may be waived by contacting the gallery manager). Entry fee is $35 for 3 works or $5 for each additional submission up to 10 total works. Awards: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $300, 3rd Place $150. Gallery commission on sales is 60/40 (60% artist, 40% d'Art Center). Submit all entries and payments via Call for Entries (Cafe). For questions, contact [email protected].
