Diversity Lives Here: Representation Through Art

Monmouth University invites student artists to submit original artwork for the exhibition "Diversity Lives Here: Representation Through Art." The exhibition will run across Monmouth University's campus from March 15, 2023, through January 1, 2024.

Artists are encouraged to submit work that reflects on identity, diversity, representation, inclusion, power, equity, or that highlights historical figures who fought for the space to share their ideas and work. Selected digital artwork will be printed and displayed in dedicated spaces throughout every academic building on campus. The prompt is intentionally broad and open to creative interpretation.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older and enrolled in college or university. All work must be submitted digitally. Artwork specifications: 24" x 36" (to fit frames provided), 300 DPI, true to size. Accepted file types: jpg, gif, eps, tiff. Files must be in CMYK format. Selected works will be printed, framed, and hung throughout Monmouth University's halls. Submission deadline: March 1, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
