About This Call

Exhibizone presents the 26th artist call from its international online exhibition series, Diversia. Following the UN calendar, this exhibition encourages artists to share work in relation to international events and critical situations recognized by the United Nations. August 2022 focuses on observances including World Breastfeeding Week, International Day of the World's Indigenous People, International Youth Day, World Humanitarian Day, International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, International Day Commemorating the Victims of Acts of Violence Based on Religion or Belief, International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and Its Abolition, International Day against Nuclear Tests, International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, and International Day for People of African Descent. Any abstract or representational interpretations of these subjects are welcome.

Selected artworks will be exhibited online in an international group exhibition from August 10, 2022 to September 10, 2022. Awards include a Public Choice Cash Prize of US$300 (US$100 per winner) for the 3 artists with the highest ratings, publication in a stylish colorful exhibition catalogue in both online and print versions, promotional badges for social media sharing, artwork reviews and ratings from visitors, exhibition promotion including press releases and social media presentation, reports with analytics on views and engagement, potential publication in art magazines and books, a free online artist profile page on the Biafarin platform, and a digital certificate. Selected artworks will be promoted for online sales, though artists can mark work as not for sale.

Submission is free of charge. Artists can submit up to 6 original artworks; maximum 2 artworks will be selected from each artist. Selected artists pay a selection fee of USD 30. Work must be original, created by the entrant without instructor supervision, and not copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. All visual art media are accepted, including painting, drawing, illustration, printmaking, photography, digital arts, fiber art, textile arts, crafts, jewelry, sculpture, installation, and mixed media. There is no size limit or limit on artwork creation year, though artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred. Artworks must not include pornographic, violent, or hateful content.
