Dirty Show 26: Call for Erotic Art

Dirty Show 26 is an international call for erotic artwork in any medium. The exhibition will take place February 13-21, 2026, at the Russell Exhibition Center in Detroit, Michigan. This is the 26th year of The Dirty Show, an internationally renowned erotic art exhibition that attracts upwards of 10,000 patrons.

Eligibility: Artists must be at least 18 years old and may submit recent artwork (within the last 2 years) that is original and executed by the artist. Collaborations are accepted. Photographers must have signed model releases for all models aged 18+. Artwork previously shown in past Dirty Show exhibitions will not be considered. AI-generated art is not allowed. The submission fee is $20.00 (non-refundable) and does not guarantee acceptance. Artists may submit a maximum of 3 pieces. Online submissions only. Submission deadline: December 1, 2025, by 11:59 PM. Artists will be notified of accepted works via email on or after December 7, 2025.

Submission Requirements: Submit high-quality JPG or PNG images (maximum 10MB per file). For 2-D hand-delivered art: maximum 60" W x 108" H, 40 lbs. For 3-D hand-delivered art: maximum 72" H x 30" W x 30" D, must be self-supporting or mountable. For shipped art: 2-D maximum 40" W x 40" H, 40 lbs; 3-D maximum 30" W x 30" D x 40" H, 40 lbs. Once accepted, artwork may not be altered in size or content from the original submission. Photo images printed on metal or mounted on foam board with simple hangers will not be accepted. Pricing and Sales: All artwork must be priced for sale at a minimum of $75 with whole-dollar amounts only (no cents). Artists receive 65% of the sale price; Dirty Show retains 35%. Payment for sold work will be sent via check within 21 days after the close of the event. "Not For Sale" pieces require pre-approval. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the exhibition. Attendance is not required; accepted artists are admitted to the exhibition at no charge. Submitting artwork constitutes acceptance of all exhibition rules and terms. The Dirty Show is not responsible for loss or damage to artwork during shipping or exhibition.
