delecTABLE: The Fine Art of Dining: Seventh Biennial National

A juried exhibit dedicated to the presentation of functional ceramics, focusing on the fine art of dining, to include serving vessels, place settings, platters and dinner table décor. Proceeds from the sale of work and associated events will benefit the Art Students League of Denver and its ceramics program.

Eligible artists must be U.S. citizens at least 18 years of age. Submit up to 3 digital images and 3 detail shots of functional ceramic pieces suitable for a dinner table (place settings, serving vessels, platters, vases, candle holders, etc.). Work must be innovative and original, completed within the past three years, and not previously shown at delecTABLE. Works must be made majorly out of ceramic materials (roughly 75%) and may not exceed 30 inches in any dimension or 20 pounds in weight. No more than two place settings are accepted as part of one submission. Entry fee is $35 (nonrefundable). Images must be submitted in JPEG format at 300 DPI, 1920 x 1920 pixels via CAFÉ at www.CallforEntry.org.

Juror Justin Paik Reese will select work based on digital images submitted October 14-18, 2024. Artist notification begins October 28, 2024. Accepted work is due February 1-7, 2025 at ASLD's Gallery, 200 Grant Street, Denver, CO. The exhibit runs February 21 - March 30, 2025. All work must be available for sale; artists receive 60% of the sale price. ASLD retains 40% commission. Artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from ASLD. An opening reception is February 21, 2025 from 5:30-8:00 PM. An artists reception with award announcements is March 7, 2025 from 5:30-8:00 PM.
