Decision '24: National Juried Exhibition

Decision '24: National Juried Exhibition invites artists from across the United States to participate in an open-themed exhibition showcasing diverse artistic expressions. The exhibition seeks works that highlight unique perspectives, whether through personal narratives, societal commentary, or abstract explorations. Selected artworks will be displayed at Charles Adams Gallery in Lubbock, Texas from November 1 to December 2, 2024, with the opening reception held during First Friday Art Trail on November 1, 2024 from 6-9pm.

The juror, Brandon Zech (Publisher of Glasstire), will select works based on creativity, artistic quality, and overall impact. Awards include Best in Show (Juror's Choice) with cash prize TBA, Best in Show (People's Choice) selected by public vote with cash prize TBA, and two Honorable Mentions with cash prizes TBA. All prizes will be announced during the First Friday Art Trail opening.

Eligibility is open to all U.S. artists. Entry fee is $35 plus $5 for each additional artwork. All visual art forms are accepted, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, video art, digital art, and installations. Works must be completed in 2020 or later. Submission deadline is September 30, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jury dates are October 1-8, 2024, with artist notifications on October 9, 2024. Accepted artwork must arrive between October 10-30, 2024. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must include prepaid return labels. All work must be for sale; Charles Adams Gallery takes a 40% commission on sales.
