About This Call
December 2019 Group Art Show. Entry fee: $17. Submission deadline: Friday, November 1st. Exhibition dates: Wednesday, December 4th through Thursday, December 26th, 2019. First Friday Artist Reception: December 6th, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (free for the general public).
Artwork requirements: Maximum size 48" width x 72" height. Submit 3-5 images. All artwork must be wired on the back ready to hang. Artists must create two tags for each piece (one for back, one for wall display), labeled with artist name, title, medium, and price, no larger than 3.5" x 5".
Local artists must attend the First Friday reception and participate for its entirety or better part of it, and remain on the floor of their art to engage with the public. Out-of-state artists are not required to attend. Delivery: Friday, November 29th (11am-7pm) or Saturday, November 30th (11am-5pm). Pick-up: Friday, December 27th (11am-7pm) or Saturday, December 28th (11am-5pm). Artwork not picked up within 30 days of closing will be donated to charity.
Commission on sales: 75% goes to the artist. Patrons purchase through the gallery and may take artwork at time of payment. Out-of-state artists shipping artwork are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. All shipments must include a prepaid return shipping label. FedEx is the preferred shipping method. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the closing date. The Jones Gallery exercises extreme care but does not assume liability for loss or damage. Artists are responsible for independently insuring their own work.
