December Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for its December Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers nationwide (18 years or older). No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury submissions and select 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces per artist to exhibit. Artists may submit up to 5 images for review. The entry fee is $30.00, and the application deadline is November 1, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The exhibition runs from Wednesday, November 29th through Thursday, December 28th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on December 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Artwork must be original, for sale, and wired on the back ready to hang. Maximum display size is 48" width x 72" height. Artists must provide two tags (no larger than 3.5" x 5") for each piece, labeled with artist name, title, medium, price, city, and state. Commission on sales is 75% to the artist and 25% to the gallery. Local artists should deliver work November 24th-25th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and pick up December 29th-30th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). Out-of-state artists must ship work by November 25th with prepaid return shipping labels. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks of the closing date. The gallery will not assume liability for loss or damage; artists are responsible for independently insuring their work.
