Dallas Jewish Community Foundation Exhibit

In partnership with the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation, TJAA presents an art exhibit in the new suite of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation. Submission is for current TJAA members only. Non-members may participate by joining TJAA online prior to the submission deadline.

Submit up to two images as JPG files by August 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Submission is free. Accepted artists will be notified by August 18, 2024. Accepted works must be delivered to Goldmark Cultural Center at 13999 Goldmark Dr., Ste 133, Dallas, TX 75240 on Monday, August 19, 2024 between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The DJCF will hold an Open House for their new space on Thursday, August 22, 2024, and all exhibition artists are encouraged to attend. Failure to deliver artwork during the designated dropoff time will result in exclusion from the show.

All submitted works must be ready-to-hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame. Saw hook hanging will not be accepted. Works on 1/2" canvases should be framed. Works on 1" to 2" canvases need neatly painted edges if not framed. Art pieces cannot exceed 24" x 36" in either dimension (including frame) and must weigh less than 10 lbs. There is no theme requirement; artwork may be Judaica but it is not mandatory. No nudity will be accepted. Artwork must have a minimum value of $100 and must be for sale. TJAA retains 10% commission from all sales. Artwork will be on a two-month rotation basis. Artwork must remain in exhibitions until pickup and must be signed out; removal without written permission from a TJAA board member may result in significant penalties.
