About This Call
The Dallas Festival of the Arts is a two-day fine arts outdoor festival held in Kidd Springs Park in the Kessler Park neighborhood of Dallas. The festival features approximately 100 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalworkers, glass artists, jewelers, and artists in other media. The event includes artist demonstrations, music, food trucks, and beverages. Festival hours are Saturday 10:00 am-5:00 pm and Sunday 11:00 am-5:00 pm.
Artists may submit work in the following categories: 2-D Mixed Media, 3-D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing & Printmaking, Edibles, Fiber, Glass, Handcraft, Jewelry, Metal, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, and Wood & Furniture. Prohibited items include t-shirts and commercial clothing, posters, manufactured toys, commercially manufactured or reproduced items, jewelry made from more than 50% manufactured components, and items using commercially available molds or patterns. All artwork must be original and handmade by the artist, with original art occupying at least 50% of the artist's booth space.
Load-in is Friday, November 14, 2025 from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM, with limited walk-in load-in on Saturday from 8:00 AM-8:30 AM (advance participation and approval required). The event is a dolly/wagon-in event located inside the park near the duck pond with close parking. Exhibitors must provide their own 10'x10' white top tents of EZ UP quality or higher, weighted and secured. Free parking is available at the event site and in the surrounding neighborhood. Water, booth sitters (limited basis), and 24-hour on-site security are provided. The festival is rain or shine with no refunds for inclement weather. Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting sales tax at 8.25%.
