Dairy Center for the Arts 2015

The Dairy Center for the Arts invites artists and arts organizations from the United States and around the globe to submit proposals for individual and group shows of any and all visual art mediums for the year 2015. Through The Dairy's Colorado Community Curator (CCC) program, a non-artist member of the public who is a Colorado resident may also submit a proposal for an exhibit of work by an artist or group of artists from any state or country. The person submitting the proposal will be considered the exhibitor and responsible for the exhibit as described in the prospectus.

Applications will be reviewed by The Dairy's Visual Arts Committee (VAC), an eleven-member committee comprised of artists, curators, university faculty and art collectors. Approximately 18 artists or groups of artists will be selected to exhibit in the galleries in 2015. Entry fee is $35.00. Artists may submit up to 3 applications with 5 images per submission.

No artist may exhibit a complete body of work at The Dairy that has been shown in the Boulder area in the 12 months prior to their Dairy exhibition. Work exhibited at The Dairy should be no more than three years old at the time of exhibit, although exceptions may be made by the jury and/or The Dairy's Curator. Work older than three years may be submitted with an exhibit proposal to demonstrate artistic ability, intent and style. The Dairy welcomes audio and video exhibitions or exhibits with these components; contact the Curator for further information. The Dairy Galleries are not equipped to exhibit art jewelry; exhibiting artists or arts organizations must work with the Curator in obtaining display cases and materials at the exhibitor's expense.
