About This Call
Exhibizone presents Curves 2024, the 2nd annual juried exhibition celebrating the beauty and versatility of curves in art. Curves with their graceful arcs and fluid lines have long been an intriguing subject for artists throughout history. Curved lines are often used in art to create a sense of movement and to add interest and beauty to artwork's composition. The subject is free, and artists are encouraged to explore diverse interpretations of curves, including organic curves found in nature, artificial curves made by humans, abstract curves that evoke emotions, or the elegant curves of the human body. All abstract and representational art in any 2D and 3D medium is welcome, including painting, drawing, landscapes, printmaking, illustration, photography, digital arts, sculpture, metalsmithing, installation, crafts, assemblage, decorative arts, jewelry, design, glass art, book art, land art, fiber art, textile art, paper art, wood art, and mixed media.
Selected artworks will be showcased in an online group exhibition globally from August 10 to October 10, 2024. Selected artworks will be promoted for sale via the online exhibition link, with not-for-sale and sold artworks accepted. Selected artworks will also be exhibited and promoted on ARTSY, the largest global community of art collectors. All selected artworks and artists will be published in a stylish colorful exhibition catalogue available online and promoted internationally. Artists receive lifelong links to the exhibition and their artworks, a digital exhibition poster, promotional badges for social media, and a digital certificate. An insightful report containing visit statistics, artwork popularity, engagement rates, and sales statistics will be sent to each artist regularly during the exhibition.
Submission is free of charge. If selected, there is a USD 35 selection fee. Artists can submit up to 6 artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks accepted from each artist. Artworks must be entirely the work of the entrant and original, not copies or derivatives of other copyrighted work. Artists must have all rights for presenting and publishing artworks internationally. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no limit for artwork creation year. There is no size limit for submitted artworks. A money-back guarantee is available for all selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day. Entry deadline is July 21, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. This opportunity is open to all visual artists worldwide.
