About This Call
Curves 2023 is a juried international exhibition celebrating the beauty and versatility of curves in art. The exhibition welcomes all abstract and representational art in any 2D and 3D medium. Artists are encouraged to explore diverse interpretations of curves, including curves in nature (pathways, flowers, water, landscapes), man-made curves (architecture, everyday objects), abstract curves, and human body curves.
Submission is free of charge. Artists can submit up to 5 artworks, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. A USD 35 selection fee applies to selected artists only. Work sample requirements: 1-5 images. Artworks must be original works created by the entrant without instructor supervision and must not be copies or derivatives of copyrighted work. Artworks created within the last 5 years are preferred, though there is no limit on creation year. There is no size limit for submitted artworks.
Selected artworks will be showcased in an online group exhibition from July 15 to September 15, 2023. Benefits for selected artists include online exhibition and promotion, inclusion in a stylish exhibition catalogue available online and via print-on-demand, digital exhibition poster and promotional badges, artwork reviews from visitors, exhibition promotion including press releases and social media presentation, analytics reports with visitor statistics and sales data, potential publication in magazines and books within the Biafarin art network, a free online artist profile page, and a digital certificate. Exhibizone has attracted more than 5.7 million visitors worldwide since 2020.
