About This Call
CURRENTS is the annual PhotoNOLA Showcase exhibition at Ogden Museum of Southern Art, highlighting 8-10 portfolios of diverse photographic work created by New Orleans Photo Alliance members. The juror for 2024 is Liv Constable-Maxwell, Commissioning Editor at the London-based publishers MACK. The exhibition will be open from December 13, 2024 through January 26, 2025.
CURRENTS is a showcase exhibition featuring up to 4 images per selected photographer, designed to give an overview of contemporary photographic practices and projects. You must be an active member of the New Orleans Photo Alliance to enter. Applicants may join at the time of entry. Submission fee for members is $25; submission fee plus NOPA membership is $60. Minimum pieces per entry is 4; maximum is 10. Files must be in JPG format with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Images should be resized to 1800px on the short dimension. Do not enter if your work was accepted for the immediate previous year of CURRENTS, and do not resubmit images that have been featured in previous CURRENTS exhibitions. Different images from a previously featured series are eligible. Selected artists typically have multiple pieces accepted into the show. Shipping is the responsibility of the artist.
