CTAC 2019 Juried Photography Exhibition

The Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey, Michigan presents the 2019 Juried Photography Exhibition. This year's juror is John Fergus-Jean, MFA, an Emeritus Professor of Photography, former curator of photography, and master photographic printer. The exhibition is open to all residents of Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, and to Crooked Tree Arts Center members regardless of residency, 18 years and older.

Artists may submit up to three photographic entries (still images and/or videos). Entry fee is $35.00 per artist ($20.00 for current CTAC members with coupon code JPE19). Work samples must include a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 total submissions. Still images should be JPEG format with dimensions of 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side and file size under 5 MB. Videos may be in WMV, AVI, MOV, MPG, or MP4 format with resolution between 640 x 480 and 1920 x 1080, aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9, and file size under 100 MB. Submissions must be original works using photographic processes and must not have been previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center.

Three prizes will be awarded: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $250, 3rd Place $100. Accepted works must be delivered to the gallery between January 4-8, 2019 during posted hours (closed Sundays). The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday, January 19, 2019, 2-4 p.m. and closes Saturday, March 30, 2019. Work pickup is available 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, April 1 through Saturday, April 6, 2019. Works delivered with return shipping arrangements will be sent by April 12, 2019.
