CTAC 2018 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition

The 2018 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition will be presented at Crooked Tree Arts Center in Traverse City from September 15 through October 27, 2018. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, September 15, from 2-4 pm, with awards announced at the opening. Detroit-based Gallery Director Simone DeSoura will serve as juror. Cash awards include: 1st Place $1,000, 2nd Place $500, and 3rd Place $250.

The exhibition is open to residents of Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana, as well as Crooked Tree Arts Center members. Applicants must be 18 years or older. Artists may enter up to three original works in any medium. The entry fee is $40.00 per artist ($20.00 for current CTAC members). Work samples must be submitted as digital files through CallForEntry.org between May 1 and July 7, 2018. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email no later than July 16, 2018.

Accepted work must be delivered to the Traverse City location (322 Sixth Street, Traverse City, MI 49684) between September 3-8, 2018. Work may not be removed until after the close of the show. Pick-up is available October 29 - November 3, 2018. Work not picked up by November 4, 2018 becomes property of Crooked Tree Arts Center. CTAC retains a 40% commission on any work sold; artists receive 60% of the retail price. Shipped work requires a $25 handling fee and must include pre-paid return shipping.
