Crooked Tree Arts Center Call for D'Art for Art Donations

D'Art for Art is Crooked Tree Arts Center's premier fundraising event held each July for more than a decade. This two-night event features 500 guests each evening comprised of resort and local community art patrons. Guests leave with an original work of art created by artists of local, regional, and national acclaim. The proceeds support CTAC's year-round programs, including exhibitions, classes, school tours, and scholarships for youth.

Artists are invited to donate original, framed artwork ready to hang (if applicable) with a minimum value of $300. All donating artists will be included in the D'Art Artists Catalog, a full-color publication that includes artist name, contact information, and gallery listings. 1,500 catalogs are printed and distributed annually to D'Art for Art guests, Preview Night attendees, and posted on CTAC's website and galleries. Donating artists receive a copy of the catalog along with the name of the artwork recipient. Donating artists are also invited, along with a guest, to attend the Preview Wine Tasting on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, from 6:00–8:30 PM, featuring wines from California, Oregon, and Michigan vintners, hors d'oeuvres from area chefs, and the opportunity to meet artists and preview all artwork.

Work sample requirements: Submit 1–6 images. Important dates: Deadline to submit artwork for CTAC to photograph is Friday, July 1; deadline to submit image for catalog is Friday, June 27; deadline to deliver artwork to CTAC is Friday, July 11. CTAC and the D'Art for Art committee reserve the option to decline a donation of art.
