Crooked Tree Arts Center 32nd Annual Juried Photography Exhibition

The Crooked Tree Arts Center invites submissions for its 32nd Annual Juried Photography Exhibition. This competition is open to all Michigan residents and members of the Crooked Tree Arts Center who are 18 years or older. Each photographer may submit up to two entries. Work must be dependent primarily on photographic processes, and photographers should include a brief description of their medium (such as silver gelatin, digital, or hand tinted) on the entry form. Works must not have been previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center.

The entry fee is $40.00 per photographer ($20.00 for CTAC members with coupon code MEM12). Entries are accepted online from November 1–30, 2012. Notification of acceptance will be sent on December 11, 2012. Accepted works must be properly framed, wired, and ready for hanging. Work delivery is scheduled for January 11–12, 2013, between 10 a.m.–4 p.m. The exhibition opens Saturday, January 19, 2013, and runs through April 5, 2013. Artwork pickup is available Saturday, April 6, or Monday–Friday, April 8–12, between 10 a.m.–4 p.m.

Accepted works will be insured while on the Arts Center premises. The Crooked Tree Arts Center retains a 40% commission on any work sold. The retail price entered online may not change during the exhibition run, and purchased work cannot be removed before April 6, 2013. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping of work. Work not picked up by April 30, 2013, becomes property of the Crooked Tree Arts Center. By entering, photographers grant permission to reproduce accepted entries in publications and media for educational and promotional purposes.
