About This Call

The 32nd Annual Juried Fine Arts Exhibition is open to all Michigan artists and to members of the Crooked Tree Arts Center 18 years or older. The entry fee is $40.00 per artist ($20.00 for current CTAC members). Artists may submit a maximum of two images for judging. All mediums are accepted except those primarily based on photographic techniques. All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center. Works to be hung on walls must be properly framed, wired, and ready for hanging.

Entries are accepted online at www.crookedtree.org from June 22 – July 31. Digital images must meet standard CallForEntry.org specifications. Notification of acceptance will be sent by August 22. Accepted work must be delivered September 7 or 8, from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. The exhibition opens Saturday, September 15, 4-6 p.m. and runs through November 2. Work can be picked up November 3 (Saturday) or 5 (Monday) between 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Work not picked up by December 2 becomes property of the Crooked Tree Arts Center.

Artists are responsible for delivery and pick-up of their work. Shipped work must be adequately packed with Plexiglas and include a pre-paid shipping label; there is a $20 handling fee for shipped work. Sales of work are split 40% to Crooked Tree Arts Center and 60% to artist. Commission checks for sold work will be mailed by December 10. All reasonable care will be taken with artwork, but CTAC will not be responsible for loss or damage; separate insurance is recommended. The juror is John Kollig, who holds an MFA in Art from Western Michigan University and has exhibited work regionally and internationally.
