Crooked Tree Arts Center 2019 DART for ART Call for Donations

The Crooked Tree Arts Center (CTAC) is seeking donations of original works of art for DART for ART, a premier fundraising event held each July. DART for ART is unique in that guests leave with an original work of art created by artists of local, regional, and national acclaim. The event is a two-night gathering with 500 guests each evening, comprised of both resort and local community art patrons. Proceeds from DART for ART support CTAC's year-round programs, including exhibitions, classes, school tours, scholarships for youth, and community programs.

Donating artists must submit original artwork with a minimum value of $300 that is exhibition ready. Artists should submit digital images through CaFÉ by Friday, June 28, with physical artwork delivered to CTAC (Petoskey or Traverse City) by Monday, July 8 by 4:00 p.m. Alternatively, artists without digital images may drop off work by Friday, June 21 by 4:00 p.m. Digital images must be JPEG format, no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, 300 ppi/dpi resolution, and 5 MB maximum file size. Accepted artists receive two complimentary tickets to the Preview Night on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 (6:00–8:30 p.m.), two tickets to a Swirl event of their choice for the 2019-20 season, and inclusion in the DART Artists Catalog. The full-color catalog includes artist name, contact information, and up to three galleries where work is exhibited. 1,500 catalogs are printed and distributed annually to DART for ART guests, Preview Night attendees, and posted on CTAC's website.
