Crooked Tree Arts Center 2016 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition

The 2016 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition will be presented in the Bonfield Gallery from September 17 through November 19. The juried exhibition represents artists from all over the state of Michigan and members of CTAC. Monetary prizes will be awarded in the amounts of $1,000, $500, and $250. Awards will be announced at the opening on Saturday, September 17th between 2-4 p.m.

The exhibition is open to all Michigan artists and members of the Crooked Tree Arts Center 18 years or older. Entry fee is $40.00 per artist (CTAC members $20.00). Each artist may submit a maximum of two images. All mediums are accepted except those primarily based on photographic techniques. All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center. Works to be hung on walls must be properly framed, wired and ready for hanging. All accepted artwork must be for sale.

Digital images must meet the following specifications: JPEG format only, minimum 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, 5 MB maximum file size. Accepted work must be delivered September 6-10, 2016, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email no later than August 22, 2016. Work can be picked up November 21-28 (Monday-Saturday) 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (CTAC closed November 23-25). Work not picked up by December 20, 2016 becomes property of Crooked Tree Arts Center. Sales commission is 40% to CTAC and 60% to artist. For shipped work, there is a $25 handling fee per artist and artists are responsible for return shipping with pre-paid labels.
