Crooked Tree Arts Center 2015 Juried Photography Exhibition

This juried photography exhibition is open to all Michigan residents and members of the Crooked Tree Arts Center who are 18 years or older. Photographers may submit up to two entries. Work must be dependent primarily on photographic processes, and entries must not have been previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center. The entry fee is $40.00 per photographer ($20.00 for CTAC members with coupon code MEM2015). Submissions must include 1-2 images and a brief description of medium (e.g., silver gelatin, digital, hand tinted).

Cash awards include: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $250, and 3rd Place $100. The juror is Cynthia Greig, a visual artist based in metro Detroit specializing in conceptual art, photography, and video. Accepted works must be properly framed, wired, and ready for hanging. Work delivery is January 6-8, 2015 between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The exhibition opens Saturday, January 24, 2015 and runs through April 5, 2015. Notification of acceptance will be sent December 14, 2014. Artwork pickup is available Saturday, April 5, 2015 or Monday-Friday, April 7-11, 2015 between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Work not picked up by April 30, 2015 becomes property of the Crooked Tree Arts Center.

Crooked Tree Arts Center will retain a 40% commission on any work sold. The retail price entered online may not change once in the jurying process or during the exhibition. Works will be insured while on the Arts Center premises. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping of work. The photographer grants permission to reproduce accepted entries in publications and media for educational and promotional purposes.
