Crooked Tree Arts Center 2015 Juried Fine Art Exhibition

The 2015 Juried Fine Arts Exhibition will be presented in the Bonfield Gallery from September 19 through November 21. The juried exhibition represents artists from all over the state of Michigan and members of CTAC. Monetary prizes will be awarded in the amounts of $1,000, $500, and $250. The exhibit opening on Saturday, September 19th is open to members, guests, and artists only, with awards announced between 2-4 p.m.

The exhibition is open to all Michigan artists and members of the Crooked Tree Arts Center 18 years or older. Entry fee is $40.00 per artist ($20.00 for current CTAC members). Each artist may submit a maximum of two images for judging. All mediums are accepted except those primarily based on photographic techniques. All work must be original and not previously exhibited at Crooked Tree Arts Center. Works to be hung on walls must be properly framed, wired, and ready for hanging. Accepted work must be for sale and prices cannot be altered once entered. The juror is Ladislav Hanka.

Entries are accepted online June 1 – July 31, 2015. Notification of acceptance will be sent by email no later than August 22, 2015. Accepted work must be delivered September 7-12, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Work can be picked up November 23-28, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Work not picked up by December 20, 2015 becomes property of the Crooked Tree Arts Center. Digital images must be JPEG format, no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, and 5 MB maximum file size. Sales commission is 40% to Crooked Tree Arts Center and 60% to artist. Commission checks for sold work will be mailed by December 10, 2015. For shipped work, there is a $25 handling fee per artist; hand-delivered work does not incur this fee. Artists are responsible for delivery and pick-up of their work.
