Crooked Tree Arts Center 2015 D'Art for Art Call for Donations

D'Art for Art is Crooked Tree Arts Center's premier fundraising event held each July for more than a decade. Guests leave with an original work of art created by artists of local, regional and national acclaim. The proceeds support CTAC's year-round programs, including exhibitions, classes, school tours, and scholarships for youth. D'Art for Art is a two-night event with 500 guests each evening comprised of resort and local community art patrons.

All donated artwork must be original, framed and ready to hang (if applicable), with a minimum value of $300. CTAC and the D'Art for Art committee reserve the option to decline a donation of art. If you have a digital image of your work, submit it through CaFE by Thursday, June 25. The artwork itself should be delivered to CTAC (Petoskey or Traverse City) by Friday, July 10 at 4:00 p.m. If you do not have a digital image, drop off your work to CTAC-Traverse City by Monday, June 29 or CTAC-Petoskey by Wednesday, July 1. Donating artists are included in the D'Art Artists Catalog, a full-color publication with your name, contact information, and gallery listings. 1,500 catalogs are printed and distributed annually to D'Art guests, Preview Night attendees, and posted on CTAC's website and galleries. Donating artists are invited, along with a guest, to attend the Preview Wine Tasting on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 6:00–8:30 PM, featuring wines from California, Oregon, and Michigan vintners and hors d'oeuvres from area chefs. Additional benefits include special "D'Art Artist" rates on CTAC professional development lectures, two tickets to a Swirl of their choice for the 2015-16 season, and a $25 discount when signing up or renewing an CTAC Artist Directory page.
