Crocker Kingsley 2021

Crocker Kingsley 2021 is a national juried competition open to all artists residing in the United States who are 18 years or older. The juror is Carrie Lederer, a painter, sculptor and installation artist who exhibits her nature-inspired work across the United States. She has built site-specific installations for Turtle Bay Museum, de Rosa Center for Contemporary Art, San Jose ICA, and many others. Lederer is a recipient of the prestigious Fleishhacker Foundation Eureka Award, and she has completed commissions for Facebook, UCSF Medical Center, Art Source and private collections.

Participants may enter up to three artworks for a $45 entry fee. Up to 7 additional images can be submitted for an extra $5 per image, for a maximum of 10 images total. Images must be between 1mb and 3mb in size, minimum 1200 px on one side, and in JPG format. All work must be original and completed within the last two years, and must not have been previously exhibited at Blue Line Arts. All 2-D works must be ready to hang with wire backing. Artwork must be able to enter through doors with a clearance of 94"h x 91"w. All artwork must be for sale. Blue Line Arts handles all sales transactions and receives a 50% commission from all gallery sales for non-members and a 40% commission from artist members.

The exhibition runs January 8 – February 20, 2021. Shipping deadline for work is December 20, 2020. Hand delivery is available January 3rd and 4th from 10am-3pm. The opening reception and awards announcement is January 19th, 2021. The closing reception and People's Choice Award announcement is February 16th, 2021. Five artists will be selected for the Crocker Art Museum exhibition from February 28th to May 9th, 2021. Results will be sent by 5pm PST on November 20th, 2020.
