About This Call
The Crocker Art Museum & Creative Arts League of Sacramento invites artists to apply for the Crocker Holiday Artisan Market, held at the Scottish Rite Center (6151 H Street, Sacramento) over Thanksgiving weekend: Friday, November 27 (12 Noon to 5 PM), Saturday, November 28 (10 AM to 5 PM), and Sunday, November 29 (10 AM to 4 PM). The festival regularly attracts 5,000 attendees and is one of the premier shopping events in Northern California. This juried event is open to artists from all states. All work must be original and hand-crafted by the artist; no mass-produced or production studio work is allowed.
The venue is a single-story building with free parking and easy load-in/out. Amenities include free coffee during setup until noon, volunteer help for load-in and load-out, volunteer staff for booth sitting, and overnight on-site security. The show operates on a booth fee plus commission format, with commission limited to 15% of sales up to $4,000 (no commission on sales exceeding $4,000). Booth sizes available are 6' x 8' ($200), 8' x 10' ($275), and 10' x 10' ($325), plus limited premium corner locations.
Approximately 105 artists will be selected with a waitlist of 20. The jury process runs July 5-20, 2026, with notification by email on July 25, 2026. Artists must accept their invitation and purchase their booth by August 10, 2026. An 80% refund is available for cancellations made by September 30, 2026 (jury fee is non-refundable). Artists must provide a resale license 60 days prior to the event and must be present during all show hours. Work displayed must be substantially similar to images submitted in the application. No jewelry may be sold unless the artist has been juried and accepted in the jewelry category.
