Creative Dose: Artist Alliance at Ashton Gallery

This is a call to artists who are members of Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA)'s Artist Alliance for a juried art exhibition at Ashton Gallery @ Art on 30th. Artists are invited to submit up to 20 entries for consideration in this exhibition that explores art-for-wellness efforts, including themes like leaning into joy and community, finding moments of respite and well-being. The exhibition is part of OMA's partnership with Art Pharmacy, a program by San Ysidro Health, to deliver innovative arts-based "social prescriptions" to support mental health and well-being.

Juror Kate Ashton will select work that creates the strongest show when considering all works in context. Artists who are not current OMA Artist Alliance members must join before submitting artwork for consideration. The entry fee is $20 for the first submission and $10 for each additional submission, with scholarships available. All submissions must be original works of art in any media or style, with wall-mounted work limited to maximum 60" width, 84" height, and 20 pounds maximum weight.

The exhibition will be on view January 10–February 7, 2026, with a public reception on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 4:00–7:00pm. Selected artists will be notified by December 15, 2025, with artwork drop-off scheduled for January 6-7, 2026.
